Allen, TX; October 23, 2003 --- QuadriSpace Corporation, today announced the latest release of Presenter and Presenter Pro, the premier software solution for creating interactive 3D documents, publications, and presentations from CAD data.
Designed to bridge the gap between design information and customers, QuadriSpace products provide easy-to-use, yet powerful solutions for creating interactive kiosk presentations for trade shows, product demonstration CDs, architectural design walkthroughs for churches and public demonstrations, concept exploration design reviews and even printable manuals and documents. In short, QuadriSpace allows you to use your 3D information without jumping through hoops.
Improved support for visual elements of 3ds max designs allows QuadriSpace users to create and publish interactive 3D documents that include impressive virtual walkthroughs and realistic interactive product demonstrations. Interactive 3D documents maintain interactivity inside a complete document. This means that in addition to standard presentation elements like text, images and animations, QuadriSpace documents include real-time views of 3D models, CAD drawings and images. Documents are created in a page-based environment and published to an auto-run CD or self-executing file, which includes the QuadriSpace Viewer. Printed publication is also supported.
With the latest release, visual quality upgrades provide stunning views of 3D models. With enhancements like support for baked textures, radiosity lighting and procedural textures can be added to exported models for real-time inspection in QuadriSpace Presenter or Presenter Pro. In addition reflection maps from 3ds max models are supported. With current OpenGL 3D accelerated hardware, QuadriSpace products also leverage bump maps for a more lifelike image.
New capabilities have also been added to the core QuadriSpace authoring environment. Notable among new features includes filled cross section tools that maintain the original color of objects. The latest version also provides updated support for SolidWorks 2004, including import of textures; and an export plug-in for the recently released 3ds max 6.
